L1_S4_Nouns

Nouns are commonly defined as people, places, living beings, or things. They address the "who" or "what" of a sentence. The most reliable sign that a given word is a noun is if it follows an article like "the", "an" or "a".

1.    Match the noun with its picture. 



2. Categorize the noun words and list them under person, place, thing, or animal.

 

Extra Activity

1.   Write at least 5 nouns each that are persons, places, animals or birds, and things.  You may write the words that you already know by yourself or you may get the help of someone.

L1_S30_Tenses Tenses are the time of action words, which are Verbs. Verbs could be in three tenses: past, present, and future. The past is used to describe things that have already happened (e.g., earlier in the day, yesterday, last week, three years ago).
