L1_S10_ Parts of the Body

Body parts are the different components that make up the human body. Our body has many parts, and each one has a different name and function.

We have five sensory organs that help us to do different things.

·         Eyes help us see and read.

·         We smell with our noses.

·         The tongue helps us to taste.

·         The ears help us to hear different sounds.

·         Skin helps us to feel and touch.

·         Our legs help us to work, play run and skip.

Activity

1. Label the mentioned parts of the body.

Extra Task:

Draw a sample picture of yourself or take a full photo of yourself (from head to toe), with the help of someone. Label as many body parts as possible (at least 20).

L1_S30_Tenses Tenses are the time of action words, which are Verbs. Verbs could be in three tenses: past, present, and future. The past is used to describe things that have already happened (e.g., earlier in the day, yesterday, last week, three years ago). Usually ‘ed’ will be added the verb at the end, some verbs change their form, and some verbs remain the same (walked, wrote, cut). The present tense is used to describe things that are happening right now, or things that are continuous. Usually the verb stays as it is (walk, write, cut) The future tense describes things that are yet to happen (e.g., later, tomorrow, next week, next year, three years from now).
