Word is a sound or combination of sounds that has meaning and is spoken by a human being. Many words together help us to convey and receive information.

One to three-letter words are easy to read, pronounce, and remember. It helps us get a good start while learning a language.

Activity

1.    Match the word with its picture.

  

2.    Identify and write the right word for the jumbled word by using the picture.

  

3.   Write at least 20 one to three-letter words (that are not mentioned in the Examples above).

 

 

 

Extra Activity

1.   Write at least one new word for each of the 26 English alphabets with around 1-3 letters. You may write the words that you already know or you may also refer to any book in English and write that.

L1_S30_Tenses Tenses are the time of action words, which are Verbs. Verbs could be in three tenses: past, present, and future. The past is used to describe things that have already happened (e.g., earlier in the day, yesterday, last week, three years ago).
