L1_S29_Road Signs

Road signs are signs seen at the side of or above roads to give instructions or provide information to the people travelling by roads.

Road signs help to keep everybody safe on the road, for a driver or someone walking. They tell you what you are allowed to do, what you must not do, and they give helpful information about the local area.

Activity

1.    Match the Road sign with its meaning.


2.    Match the Traffic Lights with their meaning.


3.    Choose the correct option for the given road sign and write it down in the blank space provided.


Extra Task:

Draw some simple road signs (at least 10) that you had observed by yourself on the side of the roads or with the help of someone you know, also write down the meaning for the road signs you had drawn.
