L1_S16_Prefix

A Prefix is a letter or group of letters added to the beginning of a word to change its meaning. The word prefix is itself made up of the stem fix (meaning "attach", in this case), and the prefix pre (meaning "before").

Activity

1.    Follow the words with a prefix to take the kid to the ice cream. 

  

2.    Match the prefix with its root word and write the newly formed word below.

 

Extra Task

Refer to any of your textbooks in English and try to identify and write as many words with prefixes (at least 10 words) as possible.

L1_S30_Tenses Tenses are the time of action words, which are Verbs. Verbs could be in three tenses: past, present, and future.
