L1_S13_Adverb

An adverb is a word that gives more information about a verb. It can also modify a noun, adjective, or sentence at times.

Adverb example:



Activity -1: Identify the Adverbs from the words in the balloons, and tick them / write them down separately.

Activity- 2: Match the adverb words with their opposites.

 

Extra Task:

Refer to any of your textbooks in English and try to identify and write as many adverbs (at least 10 words) as possible.

L1_S30_Tenses Tenses are the time of action words, which are Verbs. Verbs could be in three tenses: past, present, and future. The past is used to describe things that have already happened (e.g., earlier in the day, yesterday, last week, three years ago). Usually ‘ed’ will be added the verb at the end, some verbs change their form, and some verbs remain the same (walked, wrote, cut). The present tense is used to describe things that are happening right now, or things that are continuous.
