L1_S30_Tenses Tenses are the time of action words, which are Verbs. Verbs could be in three tenses: past, present, and future. The past is used to describe things that have already happened (e.g., earlier in the day, yesterday, last week, three years ago). Usually ‘ed’ will be added the verb at the end, some verbs change their form, and some verbs remain the same (walked, wrote, cut). The present tense is used to describe things that are happening right now, or things that are continuous. Usually the verb stays as it is (walk, write, cut) The future tense describes things that are yet to happen (e.g., later, tomorrow, next week, next year, three years from now). L1_S29_Road Signs Road signs are signs seen at the side of or above roads to give instructions or provide information to the people travelling by roads. Road signs help to keep everybody safe on the road, for a driver or someone walking. They tell you what you are allowed to do, what you must not do, and they give helpful information about the local area. Examples Activity 1.     Match the Road sign with its meaning. 2.     Match the Traffic Lights with their meaning. 3.     Choose the correct option for the given road sign and write it down in the blank space provided. Extra Task: Draw some simple road signs (at least 10) that you had observed by yourself on the side of the roads or with the help of someone you know, also write down the meaning for the road signs you had drawn.

L1_S28_Question words (Am, is, are) ‘Am', 'are', and 'is' are  supporting verbs or linking verbs in the simple present tense. They are used to describe a person or a thing in the present. They are ‘Be’ form verbs.   They are also used to form questions and called as question words when used in the beginning of the sentence. ‘Am’ is used in First person singular pronoun . 'Are' is used with the third person plural nouns and pronouns, first person plural pronouns and second person singular or plural pronouns. 'Is' is used with third-person singular nouns and pronouns.
