The letters of the alphabet that represent vowel letters are: a, e, i, o, and u. The letter ‘y’ is sometimes referred to as an honorary vowel, as it replaces one of the other vowel letters in words such as: fly or my. L1_S1_ Letters of the Alphabet The English alphabet consists of 26 letters. Each letter has an uppercase ("capital letter") and a lowercase ("small letter") form. Examples Activity  1.   Match the Capital letters with the Small letters.   2.   Write the Capital letters for the given Small letters.   Extra Activity 1.     Write the alphabet in capital form (A-Z) and small form (a-z) in the first line (row) with little space, of few pages of a notebook and then repeat writing the letters several times below it, till your writing gets improved. 2.   Take your English Textbook/ Any book in English and try to identify the letters in the words, pronounce it aloud and get help from someone if needed.
